Thorntons Ferry PTTF is sponsoring a Variety Show featuring several of our very talented students and staff.

The show will be held in the James Mastricola Upper Elementary School All Purpose Room on Friday, May 11th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5 each. All proceeds will fund playground development at Thorntons Ferry School.

If you are looking for a fun family evening, please join us :D .

Thanks to everyone who showed up at the Thorntons Ferry Variety Show! The evening was a great success ... our very talented performers did a great job entertaining the audience and we raised about $2,200 towards playground development.

The show was videotaped and should be available to view on one of our Merrimack channnels soon. I'll let you know when I find out more.

Nice!

Great job Gina and PTTF!

This is exactly how money should be raised for such items. Well done.

Hey, how much more is needed?

The piece of playground equipment we purchased this year, called a "Play Web" cost about $14K including delivery, set up and ground covering, which is required to make the ground softer in case of falls. There is a picture of it in the program for our Variety Show, or you can see it on our upper playground - it was installed last week. Next year we'll hold more fundraisers and hopefully purchase additional equipment. We estimate to completely replace the older equipment on TFS upper playground will cost over $50K, which will be spread over several years. The parent/teacher group has planned to cover this by fundraising and possible grants from outside sources.
