I do not know what the corporate deal is for WGN and I would have to check out its carriage limitations as it is a superstation by definition. It may be a broadcast required thing and we have our bandwidth allocated for leased access situations (required by law).

We DO have a MLB package that shows most of the games out there. You must buy for the season on that program, but I expect a significant amount of Cubs games would be available (as long as they are not nationally televised, in which case you would see them on ESPN or FOX).

We do not have the info in our system yet, as we aren't even at spring training yet.

Here is the link about MLB Extra Innings, which also allows you to get emailed schedules based on your viewing preferences (like the Cubbies for you & the Yankees for me!)

Carmen: We'll just have to see about the Sox being also-rans...let's root for a Sox/Cubs World Series and we'll make a friendly wager!

Shannon: For a marketing person, you should know better than to openly root for the Yankee$ here!

I am from New York--4th generation NYer. I would never expect you to wear pinstripes if your career took you to the Bronx, so I can not sell out my loyalties to the team I grew up watching since going to my first game in 1979.

Sorry guys, I am not a bandwagon fan, but a fan from my heritage!

A Red Sox Cubs World Series!

Just a few short months ago we could actually hope for such an event--but like certain comets, they occur only once every few millennia---we were so close...

For those who wish to see the stats from the actual Red Sox - Cubs World Series of 1918 please use the following link:

Hmmm,

Just reading this thread makes me wonder if we should ask Nat to create a sports sub-forum.

After all, there is a politics forum.

Just a thought.

OK...we got a little off the topic...the original purpose was to ask Adelphia if they could add WGN-Chicago. I'm all for it, after they add NESN-HD. :D
