Live Voter Education Q&A Forum

Postby joe179 » Sun Feb 09, 2003 10:52 am

This is a topic that has been discussed at some length, yet I know of no town sponsored comprehensive education forum available. The existing town web site is aged as it still lists as one of it's highlights: "Board Votes Not To Hold Special Town Meeting" and the FAQ link deals with Q&A of the Special Town Meeting. I can't seem to find information on the facts of a Transfer Station or Curbside collection.

On Thursday, Paul Hasenfuss asked the BOS to consider sponsoring a question & answer forum for the citizenry. I believe he asked that Dave McCray and Tony Pellegrino host this forum.

I think this is an excellent idea! I would ask that the BOS move to host a citizen question & answer forum at one of the school cafeterias or auditoriums in the very near future. After all, Norm Carr stated on Thursday that the education process goal is to inform the public prior to the Deliberative Session.
