A few of us could go there every friday "unofficially". I gotta cut back on the alcohol though.

Either Shannon or I may be willing to break free from the kids for a night if anyone is going.

I started to post a reminder, but I am not certain I can make it this time.

If more than one person plans to go, how about posting it in the General Town Topics area, so others can see the announcement. Only those who have previously attended can see it here.

well Chris and I were there but didn't see anyone else.
no prob, I always like the common Man

I was amazed at how many people ( that we didn't know) stopped by and thanked Chris for his effort to get the courthouse to stay here in town. Always nice to get a pat on the back once in a while.

here's to next month

Now that the colder weather is coming I look forward to some evenings at the Common Man. I'll put it on my calendar for next month, Oct 12th. What time do we gather? (I've been off the forum lately and, frankly, too beaten up by my summer of misery to think much about town politics or gatherings. There's nothing like enduring a really horrible time in your life to make you appreciate it when things lighten up a bit.)

Amen, sister. Just replace summer of misery with summer of 70 hour work weeks. I've had more horrible times in my life than I can count, but i've found that as long as you're not dead, there's someway to get around the scars of disappointment as long as you're ready for the pain in the near aftermath.

All things pass, Andy. All things pass.

That's been my mantra this summer, and it sounds like it's yours as well. Here's to better times ahead.
