Truck throwing chickens?

Postby Debra Huffman » Thu May 10, 2012 9:51 am

This is such a bizarre thing I just have to know the story. Does anyone have any clue about this item in the police log:

11:03 a.m.: Report of a white truck on Daniel Webster Highway near the Bedford town line throwing chickens.

Seriously? Throwing chickens? What in the world could this be about? (Ok, clearly the TRUCK wasn't throwing anything. But why would anyone INSIDE the truck be throwing chickens?)

Hey Deb, maybe they were librating chickens tagged for portioning into 8-pc packages.

Did you notice how many of them crossed the road....and did you ask those who did....WHY?

Maybe it's the NH version of Cow Tipping.

I guess this oddity will have to stay a Merrimack Mystery for now.
