Bird help..

Postby RayWhipple » Sun Oct 02, 2011 7:53 am

While I was siting outside the other day i saw a bird land at our bird feeders. The bird was some ones Parakeet that got loose. Does anyone have any ideas how I can capture it so it lives? I don't think it will make it through the winter. Thanks for any help....

See if you can find someone who has a cage and put the cage out with some seed.....another thought is to find a person who has a bird and have that person bring the bird IN the cage and put it near where you saw the parakeet so it hears it calling (with the empty cage next to it).

Have you called the Audubon Society? They might have some additional suggestions.
