Merrimack VFW Post 8641 Fundraiser

The Merrimack Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8641 is holding a fundraiser on Saturday, July 17 to raise funds for the installation of a verical lift "elevator" to make the Post more accesible to the disabled members and general public who utilize the Post and it's function hall. In the spirit of cooperation, the Merrimack Post 98 American Legion has offered it's facility, picnic grove, horshoe pits and ball field. The theme of the days event is "Give a Vet a Lift" and will be a day full of games, food, fun and music. The games will consist of horsehoes (most ringers out of 40 throws), a wiffle ball home run derby, ping pong and ladder golf and is open to everyone of all ages. There will be live music performed by 2 local and popular bands and a booth offering Veterans awareness information.

Both the VFW and American Legion Posts contribute greatly to many local organizations, causes and activities so come join the fun and help benefit a very worthy cause while giving back a little to the 2 Posts. Please see below for more information.
